The Nola Daq Shack was started by two sisters; Janvier Ward and Maxine Ohakim, in honor of their brother Joseph Ohakim, RN, who passed away in 2020. With their family roots being from New Orleans, both of the sisters wanted to find a way to bring a piece of the Bayou to their hometown Columbus. With this in mind, the sisters got to work and created the Nola Daq Shack, serving Famous Big Easy Style Sno' Balls and Daiquri's( Virgin style).

The Daq shack is a story that truly has turned lemons into frozen lemonade drinks. This brand serves as a reminders that family is a top priority and that it is those around, here on earth and in spirit who gives us the strength to do great things in the community.
